90s Supergroup Little Texas To Headline Holiday Festival in Sulphur, Louisiana
Now that Thanksgiving is over, everyone is getting ready for the Christmas season. There are a ton of Christmas events scheduled all over Southwest Louisiana from Christmas parties to festivals to light shows.
One of the most popular festivals that takes place is coming up this weekend as a Southwest Louisiana favorite Christmas event is back. Christmas Under The Oaks is returning to Sulphur, Louisiana for three big days and nights of events and concerts.
Christmas Under The Oaks takes place at Heritage Square in Sulphur, Louisiana located on Ruth Street gets underway Thursday, November 30th, and runs through Saturday night, December 2nd, 2023.
On Thursday night, Christmas Under The Oaks features its Holiday House Preview Gala from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Then on Friday and Saturday are when the events and concerts begin.
Friday features the Holiday House from 10:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. featuring 40 plus vendors for you to shop. The carnival will open at 5:00 p.m. that night and then at 5:30 there will be performances from the Barbe High School Choir, and the Rotary Club.
Then at 8:00 p.m., they will light the Christmas tree then get ready to see and hear Grammy Award winner and Louisiana legend Wayne Toups live in concert. He will perform from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
On Saturday, December 2nd, Holiday House from 10:00 a.m. and the Kiwanis Parade starts at 11:00 a.m. The carnival will open at Noon and live music starts at 1:00 p.m. with the Sulphur High School Swing Choir. The W.W. Lewis Choir will perform at 3:30 p.m. followed by the Chase Tyler Band at 5:00 p.m.
Then get ready for the grand finale as 90s Country Supergroup Little Texas will perform live. Get ready to hear all their big hits like Some Guys Have All The Love, What Might Have Been, God Bless Texas, My Love, Kick A Little, Amy's Back In Austin, and so many more.
Then the snow will fall starting at 8:30 p.m. so don't miss it this weekend in Sulphur, Louisiana for Christmas Under The Oaks. Admission is only $5 on Friday and Saturday.
