A List Of SWLA St. Patrick’s Day Events

St. Patrick's Day is this Sunday and it's become more than just drinking green beer. There are several events happening around SWLA to celebrate the day.

The Green Hat Charity Fun Run/Walk/Crawl

This event will kick off this Saturday at 11:00am at CHRISTUS Ochsner St. Patrick Hospital, then run/walk/crawl to the finish line, stopping at four stops along the way for Green Drinks and Snacks.

St. Patrick's Day @ MacFarlane's Celtic Pub

This event at MacFarlane's will feature live music and food, plus wine, beer, and whiskey tastings. They'll be giving away tons of prizes, as well.

It kicks off this Saturday at 5:30am with a traditional Irish breakfast.

MacFarlane's Schedule:

• Start the day off with a traditional Irish breakfast at 5:30am
  (Breakfast will be served from 5:30am till 10:30am)
• Lunch (regular menu) will start at 11:00am
• Wine tasting @ 12:00pm (noon)
• Beer tasting @ 1:00pm
• **Break from 2:0pm - 3:00pm**
• Whiskey tasting @ 3:00pm
• Scotch tasting @ 4:00pm
• **Break from 5:0pm - 6:00pm**
• Jameson @ 6:00pm

Blue Martini St. Patrick's Day Party:

The Blue Martini is throwing at St. Patty's bash at the Golden Nugget, kicking off this Sunday.
