Louisiana — Alright y’all… we back at it again. If you thought I was gonna stop at Calcasieu Parish, you don’t know me too well.

This cracklin mission is just getting started… and this time we slid right down the road into Jeff Davis Parish. Not a long drive, but I’m gonna tell you right now… they got something to say over there.

And just like last time… I ain’t picking no winner. Y’all told me where to go, I showed up hungry, and every single stop showed out in its own way.

Let’s get into it.

Where to Get Cracklins in Jeff Davis Parish?

First stop… Cormier's Specialty Meats.

Soon as you walk in, you know you in the right place. That smell hits you quick. Their cracklins got that good golden crunch on the outside, and when you bite in, they soft where they need to be. Seasoning is simple but strong. These the kind you grab “just a few of”… and next thing you know, the bag empty and you sitting there wondering what happened.

Right down the road, I had to swing by Hebert's Boudin & Cracklins in Jennings.

Now listen… they ain’t playing around here. These got a little more punch to ‘em. Good flavor, nice crisp, and they stay hot and fresh. You can tell folks roll through here all day long. This one right here got that “pull over real quick” type of vibe. Definitely worth the stop.

I was a little disappointed, seemed like it was pretty hard to find Cracklins in Jeff Davis Parish.

So Here’s the Deal, I’m gonna say it again for the folks in the back…There is no loser on this list.

Now if I missed a spot, don’t come at me too hard… just drop it in the comments and I’ll go check it out. You know I will.

And get ready… because next up, we heading into Acadiana. And I ain’t gonna lie… I’ve been waiting on this one.

Let’s see who really got that cracklin crown.
