Blake Shelton Drive-In Concert Canceled in Lafayette

Yesterday, we reported tickets were on sale for the Blake Shelton drive-in concert taking place this Saturday, July 25. Good news and bad news on the concert. The good news, Blake fans, is that the concert is still a go across the country. Tbad news is that it is a no go in Louisiana. The event was to take place at Cajun field in Lafayette.

Yesterday, the Cajundome in Lafayette released a statement about the upcoming event. In part, they said the event has been canceled. Refunds will automatically be processed. The reason for the cancellation is basically due to rising COVID-19 case concerns and the uncertainty of where Louisiana is with the pandemic.

If you are still wanting to attend the Blake Shelton show with Gwen Stefani and Trace Adkins, we found the closest place from Southwest Louisiana to see the show. It's slated to play at the Ford Park Entertainment Complex right off of I-10 just west of Beaumont, Texas.

The show is scheduled to start at 9:00pm this Saturday night, July 25. Tickets are available on Ticketmaster.
