Lake Charles Bowl for Kids' Sake Returns to Petro Bowl

KNGT | Lake Charles, LA — If you've ever wanted an excuse to eat pizza, drink a cold one, throw a bowling ball down the lane, and help kids right here in Southwest Louisiana, well, your chance is coming up. One of the most popular fundraisers in the area is officially making its return, and this year it's gonna glow.

Buckle up Lake Charles, the annual Bowl for Kids Sake is coming back to Petro Bowl this Saturday, August 15, 2026, and its looking to be the biggest one to date.

Big Brothers, Big Sisters of SWLA has been putting this event on for years and its always a great time. This years theme is Glow Bowl Celebration. Thats exactly what this event is going to be, a huge celebration. The Glow Bowl isn't just about bowling. It's about helping more than 500 kiddos right here in Southwest Louisiana.

Bowl For Kids Sake Lake Charles

Teams of six can reserve a lane for $450, and that includes plenty more than just bowling. This year there are 3 different time slots.

9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
