It was a shootout inside the Mercedes Benz Superdome between Drew Brees and Eli Manning. No doubt, the NFL Game of the Year!

Drew and the offense ran amuck for four solid quarters in a Sunday afternoon matchup with the New York Football Giants. The problem? Eli and the G-Men did the same! But when the dust settled it was the New Orleans Saints edging out the Giants 52-49, improving the Saints record to 4-4 for the season.

The Saints have now won four of their last five games. Looks like the Saints have shaken off the memories of the horrific start of the season and they have now become one of the teams to beat in the NFL.

Brees did tie an NFL record yesterday by throwing seven touchdowns. The feat would tie him with the likes of Peyton and a few QB's in the 60s.

Up next for the Saints, a home game against the Tennessee Titans. Don't miss any of the action on Gator 99.5. Pregame is at 10 am, kickoff at noon.
