Cajun French Music Association Holding Cajun Day In Lake Charles
Louisiana folks love their Cajun music and go out and enjoy it every chance they get. Whether it's at a festival, on the radio, or just playing it on their phone or Bluetooth speakers during an event at their house, you will hear the squeezebox all over South Louisiana.
The Cajun French Music Association, CFMA for short, Lake Charles Chapter always puts on great events to support and promote our Cajun music. They are a group that's mission is to promote the Cajun culture, language, heritage, and music and keep the tradition going for generations to come.
On a side note, my dad Dave Soileau was the president of The Cajun French Music Association's Lake Charles Chapter and I was on the board for a few years. We love this organization because of the mission that I listed above but the most important thing about being involved with this organization is because we are Cajuns, we want to keep our heritage alive.
