CDC Says Vaccine Research With Pregnant Women Looks Promising

The CDC announced a new study shows promising results that the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines may be safe for expecting moms.

The study involved more than 35,000 pregnant women who participated in the research program that started last year in December. Data from the new findings ended in February and is certainly good news for moms across the country who want to get vaccinated.

Researchers reviewed data from thousands of expecting moms in different stages of their pregnancies. Some of the main side effects were mild like pain around the injection site, headache, chills, muscle aches, and a slight fever. Pretty much the same side effects for non-pregnant women and men, for that matter.
