Chevy Chase Recreates Famous Christmas Vacation Scene

'Tis the holiday season and if you love sitting down during this time to watch your favorite holiday movies, we know National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation is on your must-watch list.

I mean, it is a classic! Chevy Chase as Clark W. Griswold, the overzealous dad to his wife and kids and his obsession with Christmas lights. The scene where Clark just finished putting up 25,000 Christmas lights on his house only to try and plug them up to have them not work is a classic.

Get ready, Lampoon fans, because Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo are back reprising their rolls as Clark and Ellen Griswold and recreating that famous scene for Ford Motor Company.

A new commercial has been released where Chevy Chase is standing in his front yard ready to plug in the lights as he calls the family out to the yard for the unveiling.

Just like in the movie, the lights don't work but Ellen saves the day by plugging them up to a brand new Ford Mustang as part of Ford promoting the new electric car. Check out the new commercial below.
