City Of Lake Charles Taking Entries For Christmas Boat And Street Parades

We are getting close to Thanksgiving and you know what happens after that, Christmas. The lights go up, the carols get sung and also the lighting ceremony at the Lake Charles Civic Center.

With the lighting ceremony comes several events. The City of Lake Charles holds a Santa Workshop, a community band concert, lighted boat parade, a street parade and then the lighting ceremony.

The City of Lake Charles announced today that they are now accepting entries for both the boat and street parades. Both take place on Saturday December 5th, 2015. The street parade will take place at 1:00 p.m. and the boat parade will take place at 6:30 p.m.
