Country Cares Radiothon Begins Today for St. Jude

Today begins our two-day radiothon for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. We will make you laugh and make you cry as we tell the stories of some brave and amazing children who have fought one of the hardest battles: the battle against cancer.

St. Jude makes sure no child and no family ever has a bill to pay as they battle for their lives against this horrible disease, but they can't do it alone.

That's where we come in, and you come in. For as little as $20.00 a month, you can become a partner in hope. You might think $20 isn't very much in the grand scheme of things, but rest assured it really is.

Your $20 dollars a month can purchase a test for a child, it can purchase a week's worth of masks for the child as their immune systems dwindle from therapy. It can even help provide food for a family for the day while at the hospital.

St. Jude's reach doesn't stop at its doors. It has helped children from every state and all over the world. St. Jude uses their research and shares it freely with anyone who wants it. This allows children to stay near home but still receive the correct treatment that St. Jude does in their own hospital.

Since its inception, St. Jude has taken some of the cancer survival rates from just 4% up to almost 90%. That is absolutely amazing, but they will not stop until that number is at 100%!
