CyPhaCon Coming To Lake Charles In April

Celebrity guests, cosplay guests, musical acts, performing arts, cosplay contests, charity auction, Scion eSports Arena, tabletop board gaming, fan groups, neighborhood groups, CyPhaKids, and our brand-new Vendor, Artists, and Makers arena with over 80 vendors are all scheduled for the three-day CYPHACON 2024 event!

Friday through Sunday, April 5–7, is when CYPHACON is back to commemorate its 12th anniversary! Everyone who attends our 2024 exhibition is likely to be enthralled by CYPHACON, following its spectacular 11th Anniversary event!

Established by a group of committed individuals representing local interests in Sci-Fi, Anime, and Gaming fandom, CYPHACON debuted at the Lake Charles Civic Center in April 2011. The conference, which combines science fiction, fantasy, anime, and gaming genres, continues to draw a lot of interest from people in and around Southwest Louisiana.

Nearly all anime, sci-fi/fantasy, and gaming fans in the area will enjoy CYPHACON 2024. As with previous years, the convention will include several impressive voice actors from anime and video games, including:

• Oscar Nominee, Emmy Award Winning Actor Edward James Olmos
• Eugene Cordero from "Star Trek: Lower Decks
• Barry Lowin from "The Mandalorian"
• Prolific Anime voice actors Ricco Fajardo, Bryson Baugus, Drew Breedlove, Matthew Elkins, Cory J Phillips, and Mela Lee.

CYPHACON 2024 activities will take place in the Lake Charles Event Center, including various rooms and the James Sudduth Coliseum. Operational hours will be Friday, 5 p.m. – midnight; Saturday, 9 a.m. – midnight; and Sunday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
