Don’t Miss These Important Dates for the Upcoming Election

Many of you should know there is another election coming on April 24. If you would like to request an absentee ballot, Tuesday, April 20 is the last day to do so. You can make a request online by selecting "Search by Parish" and then "Request Absentee Ballot" here.

The deadline to return your absentee ballot is April 23. You can turn those ballots in by mail, in person yourself, or in person by a member of the voter's immediate family. If you are unable to complete your absentee ballot on time, you may still vote on election day.

April 24 is the big day you need to keep on your mind. It is important that you all go out and vote on this day. There are two run-offs that are important, with Diana Ross and Mary Morris  in District A, and Priscilla Sam and Rodney Geyen in District C.

These are important elections, so make sure you get out there and vote. If you have any questions on the election or if you need additional information, call the Registrar of Voters at 337-721-4000 or email them at calcasieurov@sos.la.gov.
