Whether you’re bringing the family, meeting up with friends, or just looking for something fun to do, Downtown at Sundown is for everyone. You can bring lawn chairs and blankets, stretch out under the lights, and enjoy everything from local bands to food trucks and art vendors.

This event is free and open to the public. All ages are permitted. Chairs and blankets are welcome; however, pets, coolers, smoking/vaping, or outside alcohol will not be allowed on site.

The first night on May 1 will be “Blast to the Past.” The band Three Sheets, a large southern rock and blues group, will take the stage. Louisiana Express will also perform, playing classic hits from the 50s through the 90s.

On May 8, the theme is “Funk & Soul Night.” Gino V Music will open the show with R&B and hip-hop sounds. Nebu Nezey will follow with smooth neo-soul music to keep the crowd moving.

May 15 will be “Bayou Roots Night,” celebrating Southwest Louisiana culture. LA 99 South will kick things off with swamp pop music. Then, Cajun and zydeco artist Horace Trahan will close out the night.

The final night on May 22 is “Rock the Block.” Infinite Bus will bring high-energy rock and pop music. Louisiana Surf Department will also perform. After the concerts, a special After Glow Show will begin at 9:00 p.m. with a DJ, lights, and a 3D display on the front of Historic City Hall.
