Dwight Yoakam Coming Back To Lake Charles In September

The iconic voice and country music star Dwight Yoakam is headed back to the Lake area and will perform live in September.

The 60 year old crooner Dwight Yoakam has been at it since 33 years now touring, recording iconic songs and even acting.

On the music front, Dwight has released 46 singles in his career and has had six number one records.  Iconic songs like "I Sang Dixie", "Street of Bakersfield", "Guitars and Cadillacs", "Your The One", "Thousand Miles From Nowhere" and so many more.

On the acting front, Dwight Yoakam has starred in feature films like Sling Blade, Panic Room, Hollywood Homicide, Wedding Crashers, and Four Christmases.  

Dwight Yoakam has also starred in TV shows like Hee Haw, King Of The Hill, and Goliath.

Dwight Yoakam will perform live at the Golden Nugget in Lake Charles on Friday, September 22nd in the Grand Event Center.  He will take the stage at 8:30 p.m.
