The residents of DeRidder will get a chance to take advantage of free car seat/booster seat installation help and advice on the proper installation of a child seat and more. It all takes place on Saturday, March 27, from 11:00am to 2:00pm at DeRidder's Green Chevrolet on 307 East First Street.

The event is brought you by Louisiana Passenger Safety Task Force, in conjunction with Beauregard Parish Sheriff’s Office and the Louisiana State Police Troop D. Nationally certified child passenger safety seat technicians will be on hand to assist residents and answer questions, while following COVID safety protocols.

If you're unable to attend but want to have your child seat inspected, you can make an appointment with the Beauregard Parish Sheriff’s Office. Just call 337-460-5443 or Louisiana State Police Troop D at 337-491-2519 they'll be happy to help you out.
