As we just moved into Phase Two in Louisiana, people are hoping things will get back to normal. Even though most businesses and casinos are now back open at 50% capacity, live music and concerts are still taking a hit.

The Golden Nugget in Lake Charles is known for having a concert every Friday and Saturday night in their Grand Event Center. Since the pandemic began in March of this year, they have been forced to postpone a lot of events and concerts, and move them to later in the year.

Such is the case with the latest three casualties, as they have had to move even more concerts and events due to the current guidelines in Louisiana from the governor's order.

The three concerts that have been postponed include Jeff Dunham, Bell Biv Devoe, and Cheech & Chong.

Dunham's show was originally scheduled for Friday, June 26 while Bell Biv Devoe was set for Friday, July 3, and Cheech & Chong was scheduled for Friday, July 10. All three concerts have been postponed with no future date scheduled at this time.

The next concert set to possibly happen is on July 11 with Daughtry and July 31 with Ron White, but that will all depend on where Louisiana is with the pandemic and orders from the governor.

I know we all are ready to go to a concert but until the all clear is given, we will just have to wait a little longer.
