Two of the greatest Cajun artists ever  Wayne Toups and Jo-El Sonnier are both celebrating their today!  Isn't it crazy that two of the most well known Cajun artists were born on the same day but on different years?

Wayne Toups who turns 57 today was born in Crowley, Louisiana on October 2, 1958. Wayne also found out earlier this year that he and his wife are going to be new parents of a baby!  After many year's of touring and recording records, Wayne was honored with a Grammy Award along with Steve Riley and Wilson Savoy for the 'Band Courtbouillon' in 2013.
