Iowa Rabbit Festival Begins Tonight At The Burton Complex In Lake Charles
The 31st annual Iowa Rabbit Festival begins tonight in the Burton Coliseum and runs through Saturday night in Lake Charles. The festival is complete with carnival rides, food galore and live entertainment on two stages.
Here is the lineup for tonight:
6:00 p.m. — Steve Riley and The Mamou Playboys
8:00 p.m.– Bag Of Donuts
10:00 p.m. — Matt Mason
Then Saturday morning, the Southwest Beverage Iowa Rabbit Festival cookoff will be outside in the barn area connected to the Burton Coliseum and starts at 7:00 a.m. Live music by Chris Miller and Bayou Roots will begin at 10:00 a.m.
Then when the cook off is over everyone will move inside where we will announce the winners of the cookoff at 1:30 p.m.
Then on the main two stages the music will begin at 2:00 p.m. and here is the lineup for Saturday:
2:00 p.m. — John Dale Hebert and Friends
4:00 p.m. — Travis Matte & The Kingpins
6:00 p.m. Geno Delafose and French Rockin’ Boogie
8:00 p.m. Wayne Toups
10:00 p.m. David Lee Murphy
