
Jeffrey Osborne Coming to Delta Downs in Vinton Sept. 26
Vinton, Louisiana [TSM-Lake Charles] - Southwest Louisiana is in for a special night of classic R&B when legendary singer Jeffrey Osborne takes the stage at Delta Downs Racetrack, Casino & Hotel in Vinton on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026.
For music fans who grew up with the sounds of soul, funk and contemporary R&B, Osborne’s appearance is an opportunity to see a performer whose career has spanned roughly five decades. His distinctive voice and romantic ballads have made him a favorite with audiences around the world.

Osborne first gained national attention as a member of L.T.D., the funk and soul group behind hits including “Love Ballad,” “(Every Time I Turn Around) Back in Love Again,” and “Holding On (When Love Is Gone).” Osborne initially joined the group as a drummer before becoming its lead singer, and his powerful vocals became a defining part of L.T.D.’s sound.

After establishing himself with the group, Jeffrey Osborne launched his solo career in the early 1980s. His transition to solo artist proved successful, producing a string of memorable songs and albums.
