Prepare for a Chicken Run through Vinton, complete with a parade, great food, vendors, and loads of family entertainment, as well as all-day live music featuring favorites from the country, rock, Zydeco, and Cajun genres. Let's have a Vinton-style Mardi Gras celebration in Southwest Louisiana!

1st Run: Johnny Breaux Rd/Amanda Drive
2nd Run: Thoroughbred/Joe Courville
3rd Run: Sabine Pointe/Caddo Drive Corner
4th Run: Sabine Pointe/Vincent Drive Corner
5th Run: Old Girl's Softball Field by Elementary
6th Run: Ted Lyons Soccer Field
 Line Up: 8:30 AM, Chicken Run Starts at: 9:30 AM
$15 per person
10 & under: FREE
ATVs, SXSs, trailers & floats welcome for the Chicken Run. Grab your crew, dress in your traditional Courir fashions, and let’s run for that chicken!

Vinton Parade Information

2:00 – 2:15 The Mardi Gras Parade, Krewes from Southwest Louisiana are invited to join. Starting at Ted Lyons Ballpark and then traveling down Horridge Street ending at the Vinton Knights of Columbus Hall
