Jennings Hosts Kinder In Huge A High School Football Matchup Tonight
Week one of the high school football starts tonight, and the marquee match up tonight will be the Jennings Bulldogs hosting the defending 2-A state champion Kinder Yellow Jackets at Jerry Simmons Stadium in Jennings, Louisiana.
Kinder will be looking to get a little revenge tonight, as last year the yellow jackets only loss of the 2015 season was against Jennings. The Bulldogs beat Kinder 41-40 in the first game of the year in 2015.
Kinder then went undefeated all the way to New Orleans and won the 2015 2-A high school football state championship in the Mercedes Benz Superdome.
Last season, Jennings went 5-5 in the regular season but still landed a spot in the 2015 3-A playoffs. Unfortunately for the Bulldogs, they were bounced out of the first round, losing 62-38 to West Feliciana.
Kinder and Jennings will lock up again tonight in this epic battle of two powerhouse high school football squads. The game kicks off at 7:00 p.m.
If you can't make it to the game, you can listen to the game on Cajun Radio 1290 AM, and on Cajunradio.com, starting at 6:30pm with Charlie Williams and the CBC broadcasting crew.
