After months of investigation, Lafayette police have finally released the journal from shooter John Russel Houser, as well as their final 600-page report.

Houser entered the Grand 16 Theater on July 23, 2015, during a showing of the movie Trainwreck and opened fire on the audience. Jillian Johnson and Mayci Breaux were killed in the incident. A total of 11 people were shot. Houser then turned the gun on himself.

Houser, originally from Alabama, left around 40 handwritten pages in which he referred to America as an "enemy of God" and a "filth farm." He praised Dylann Roof, 21, who was accused of opening fire in a church in South Carolina, killing nine. He thanked Roof for his "...wake up call..."He called Muhammed Youssef Abdulazeez "very fine" -- Abdulazeez killed four U.S. Marines in Chattanooga, Tenn., on July 16, 2015.

In a strange and disconnected stream of thoughts, Houser showed his personally-designed logo for ISIS, warning "you will see this again." At the same time, he oddly listed his favorite movies and songs and shared such insights as "Softball is not a spectator sport, nor volleyball, lacrosse, etc."

He spoke at length about the inferiority of women, blacks and homosexuals. Though he admitted he believed some people are born homosexual, he added that the true number was "very few" and that they should be treated as disabled people.

Houser repeatedly calls for more metal detectors, bulletproof glass and guards. The end of his journal seems to be a document of the day of the shooting, putting in new entries every few minutes. The most chilling entry was apparently entered at around 6:33 p.m. on the night of the killings, reading "Trainwreck 7:15."
