Lake Area High Schools Team up To Perform Frozen Jr This Weekend

It might be hot outside, but some high schools from around Lake Charles are teaming up to cool things off. Students of Barbe, Iowa, LaGrange, Sam Houston, and Washington Marion are combining their performing arts courses to present Disney's Frozen Jr.

Frozen Jr features all of the songs and characters from the Disney movie but has been adapted to Broadway. It first hit the streets in 2018 and has been a hit all across the country. The storyline ventures further into the relationship between Anna and Elsa as they trudge through danger while discovering the bond of their own sisterhood.

You can cool off and laugh along to this amazing performance this weekend for only $10. There are five total performances over the two days.

• June 25 - 10:00am, 2:00pm, 6:00pm
• June 26 - 10:00am, 2:00pm

All performances will be at Trinity Baptist Church's North Venue in Lake Charles located at 1800 Country Club Road. Tickets may be purchased at Trinity beforehand or at the door. Doors open an hour before each performance.
