Most of us that have had roommates know that sometimes they can be weird. Then we have all had the occasional unwanted or, in this case, an uninvited guest who shows up to the house. The uninvited guest would be the pertinent part of this story. A random chicken took a stroll through his living room.

Allen was sitting in his living room, like most SWLA residents, he had his back door open letting God's AC cool the house down for the evening. Allen decided he was going to catch up on some TV and was doing just that when he felt a funny feeling. The feeling as if he was being watched. You know, when you are just sitting there alone and you get this little tingle that maybe someone is there?

Allen was indeed being watched, but his uninvited house guest was barely a foot tall, with feathers. A chicken had strolled on in the door and decided it was going to take a look around. Now, luckily for Allen, he has just moved back in his home from Laura and the giant flood, so the place has been updated and fresh. The chicken should have been impressed with the decor and modern look of Allen's home. The chicken apparently did thoroughly look around the living room and the kitchen as Allen stared in disbelief at what was going on.

As the chicken made its way to the living room, he took a look at Allen and chirped at him.

No idea what he was saying, so I gave him some seeds because feeding people usually works...

It seems Allen does have a very stocked kitchen if he just has seeds to throw out to guests should they ask for them. The chicken ate a bite in the kitchen and Allen says he made his exit right back out the door like he had been there plenty of times.

Honestly, the chicken seems to have been the perfect house guest. Didn't leave a mess behind, didn't overstay its welcome, and left promptly. Except for the uninvited part, I don't see any issues with the visit. A word of caution to the chicken that may be reading this article. I've heard Allen makes a mean gumbo. If he invites you "for dinner" as it gets colder outside, I would be cautious.
