Lifetime Network Announces Debut of Patsy and Loretta

Legends Patsy Cline and Loretta Lynn are the stars of a new Lifetime film. The movie focuses on the friendship the two ladies had during the start of their careers. Although the friendship only lasted barely over a year, Lynn has written and stated in many interviews how their friendship impacted her life and career.

There have been movies made of the two separately, but they only scratched the surface of their actual friendship. The two met as Lynn was just starting out, but Cline had already become established as a female artist in a mostly male industry. The movie will focus on the friendship and bond the two made in such a small amount of time and will hopefully show they worked together to solidify themselves in the world of country music.
