I'm not a big fan of crawfish - which, yes, I realize is pretty much blasphemy around these parts - but when I came across this app, I immediately thought of everyone I've ever met.

It's called The Crawfish App, which is as good a name as any, really, and it's available on both Apple's App Store and Google Play. Maybe you already know about it because you're hip and down with the kids or whatever, but I only recently came across it in a comment thread on some random website I've already forgotten about because I'm old and boring.

You might have a little trouble finding live crawfish when they're not in season, but there are always plenty of places selling boiled yabbies. (Which is what they call crawfish in Austrailia, for some reason.)

The app will use your location to find the best prices near you, or you can choose a location to search. Started as an idea back in 2013, the app launched last year and has a 5-star rating on the App Store.
