LSU fans are still reeling from their big overtime win against Alabama last Saturday night in Baton Rouge. With the win, LSU vaulted to the top of the SEC West standings and now sits in the first-place spot.

That is because they have beaten Ole Miss and Alabama to take the top spot. They control their own destiny and the Tigers are in a great position to play in the SEC championship game in Atlanta as long as they keep taking care of business.

There are only three games left in the 2022 regular season for the Tigers. They still have Arkansas, UAB, and Texas A&M left to play. If they continue to win or just win out, it's all but certain that LSU will head to the SEC Championship game.

The first test for LSU will be against Arkansas this Saturday, November 12th. The game will be played in Fayetteville.  The game is dubbed The Battle Of The Boot. The trophy they play for is in the shape of the state of Arkansas and Louisiana which looks like a boot. See below.

What LSU fans will NOT like is that the game time for the LSU-Arkansas game is super early this Saturday. They will kick off the game at 11:00 am! That gives us Cajuns here in Louisiana no time to have a football house party or even cook something for the game unless we get up at 6:00 am.

The Battle Of The Boot game between LSU and Arkansas will be aired live nationally on ESPN.
