Not only did Brian Kelly win over the hearts of every Louisiana naysayer, but the LSU fans once again made history this weekend.

A sold-out LSU crowd witnessed an amazing feat this Saturday as a team that everyone, including some Tiger fans, counted out after a week one loss to Florida State did the unthinkable. That same Tiger team beat the Alabama Crimson Tide in a thrilling overtime victory.

LSU caused not one, but two earthquakes during the overtime win this weekend against Bama:

That is crazy to think that a crowd at a football game can cheer loud enough to move the Earth around the stadium. I guess USC and UCLA need to thank their lucky stars that they don't have fan bases like the Tigers with all the earthquakes they have already over there.

Death Vally has to be one of the loudest stadiums in the country. Since 1986, the crowd levels registered actual earthquakes four times. Three were in football games (twice in the Alabama game this weekend), and once during the Garth Brooks concert.

This LSU football team has come a long way from week 1. In the Florida State game we saw a team that wasn't familiar with each other and coaches who didn't exactly know what they had on both sides of the ball. Since, then the Tigers have grown every week into the possibility of being a playoff team at the end of the year if they run the table this season.

The last three games against Arkansas, UAB, and Texas A&M are very winnable. My only question are they "tough" enough competition to get the votes for LSU to move up into the top 4 to be included in the playoffs. I guess only time will tell. Geaux Tigahs!
