The LSU Tigers looked at times that they were struggling against Syracuse last Saturday.  But behind the rushing attack led by sophomore running back Leonard Fournette, the Tigers pulled away and won the game 34-24.

Fournette was a beast again on Saturday.  The sophomore rushed the ball 26 times for 244 yards and two touchdowns.  It was the third-most yards in a single game in LSU history.  Fournette would have run for over 300 yards if his 87-yard touchdown run wasn't called back by a formation penalty.

The Tigers are now 3-0 on the season.  The LSU football team moved up one spot to # 8 in the Amway Coaches Poll but dropped one spot in the AP Top 25 to # 9.
