Luke Combs Plays Unreleased Song, “Six Feet Apart”
Combs has been back on his same old song and dance. Playing music fans have never heard, as he writes them. Last night during his live stream was no exception. In the wake of Big and Rich's new social distancing song Stay Home, a cute and funny video, Combs goes the other way with his new song Six Feet Apart.
He wrote the song with Brent Cobb and Rob Snyder just days prior to him playing it and told fans that he spent the day trying to memorize the song to be able to play it. The song looms a very serious tone over the listener, whereas other songs have been humorous and catchy. The lyrics at the beginning of the song really set the tone for the musical journey he is taking you on.
I miss my mom, I miss my dad, I miss the road, I miss my band. Giving hugs and shaking hands...There will be light after dark, someday when we aren't six feet apart...
