Major Disaster Declaration Approved For Louisiana
The State of Louisiana’s request for a Major Disaster Declaration has been approved by President Donald Trump. The declaration will allow Louisiana to get federal aid in the aftermath of Hurricane Laura.

Hurricane Laura affected the Lake Charles area in a major way but also left a lasting effect on the entire state of Louisiana.
Hurricane Laura made landfall in Louisiana as a Category 4 system.
