Man Arrested After Tipping $22,000 on Bar Tab
Here's a really good indication that you've been over served - you tip $22,000 on drinks you bought in a hotel bar. And then get arrested on public intoxication charges.
Joel Boyers was arrested at the JW Mariott in Nashville this week after friends became concerned when he was making bizarre statements about giving his child away on Facebook, among other things. Metro cops said he admitted to drinking and smoking marijuana all day, while carrying his firearm in his front pants pocket.
He also was disrupting business at the bar by doling out over $22,000 in tips. Management said staff was competing to serve him because of the high tips, and it was causing a ruckus.
Boyers was booked on charges of public intoxication and possession of a firearm while intoxicated, and has already bonded out. He is due in court next week, and after he sobered up we bet he wishes he could get that $22,000 back....
