Mardi Gras Snow Cone Anyone?

We are still quite a bit away from the first day of Spring on March 20, but that's not stopping Mr. Snow in Lake Charles. They announced Saturday that they are officially open for the season. Currently, their hours are 12p-6p until March 10 when they will extend their hours till 7pm.

Just in time for their opening, they have fashioned up a bit of Mardi Gras Heaven in a cup. They're calling it the "Mardi Gras Madness" Snow Cone. It consists of their King Cake snow delight, Blue Bell Creole Cream Cheese Ice Cream, topped with Mardi Gras Sprinkles, and Sweetened Condensed Milk on top of all of that!

Let's hope one of the floats throw insulin this year during the parades because, with that snow cone, we are going to need it!
