As more and more things start to open up, we are so happy to report that so are festivals. This weekend is the Louisiana Railroad Festival in DeQuincy, and we just found out another great festival will be coming up soon in Mauriceville, Texas called the Mauriceville Crawfish Bash. Yep, you guessed right. It will feature lots of crawfish.

The festival starts on Friday, April 30 and features food, craft vendors, a carnival, and hometown music. On Saturday, get ready for the crawfish cook-off as teams from around the Gulf Coast will compete and serve up the best crawfish in Southeast Texas from 11:00am till 6:00pm.

You can buy All You Can Eat tickets online at crawfishfestdot.org for only $35 through April 30 or for $40 at the gate till sold out on the weekend of the festival.

Get ready, as the parade starts Saturday morning when gates open at 10:00am. After the parade, live music will get underway, featuring some of your favorites like Jamie Bergeron and the Kickin' Cajuns at 6:30pm followed by Jon Wolfe at 9:30pm.

Make plans to pack up your lawn chair, fill your belly full of hot and spicy boiled crawfish, and enjoy listening to live music. We have all been waiting for an opportunity to get out and enjoy a festival and here is your chance.
