McNeese Football’s Military Appreciation Game Things To Know

The McNeese Cowboys return back home this weekend to take on Alcorn State at Cowboy's Stadium and they will honor the military Saturday night.

The McNeese athletic department has several special things lined up to celebrate the event.

First, there are discount tickets available for military personnel with a valid military I.D  They are only $11 for a general admission seat.

According to Matt Bonnette with MSU,

Approximately 500 Boy Scouts will be in attendance and Military Appreciation T-shirts will be given out to McNeese students.

The Parapokes will once again parachute into Cowboy Stadium prior to the National Anthem, and a surprise event is scheduled to take place as well for the fans.

Kickoff for the game is set for 6:00 p.m. as McNeese will take on Alcorn State.  Both teams are 1-1 on the young season and this will be the last game of the season before McNeese starts Southland Conference play.
