Neighborhood Meetings Planned for Land-Use Evaluation

The public is invited to attend land-use evaluation meetings with the City of Lake Charles and a contracted consultant, Kendig Keast Collaborative, about land-use, planning and zoning ordinances in north, central, and south Lake Charles.

According to a media release, the public is encouraged to attend these meetings and provide feedback as the City works to update policies that guide and govern the City’s physical and economic development.T

he meetings will be held from 6 pm – 8 pm, with the dates and locations below:

• Tuesday, March 12: MLK Center, 2009 N. Simmons St.
• Wednesday, March 13: Prien Lake Park Harbor’s Edge Pavilion, 3700 W. Prien Lake Rd.
• Thursday, March 14: Oak Park Middle School, 2200 Oak Park Blvd.
