PGA’s Korn Ferry Tours Lake Charles Championship Canceled

The word came down last night from the PGA Tour that, unfortunately, the Lake Charles Championship, which was going to be a stop for the PGA's Korn Ferry Tour, has been canceled.

The event was slated to take place at the Golden Nugget's Country Club golf course on March 26 through March 29 here in Lake Charles.

If you have any questions, volunteered to work the tournament, were going to play in the Pro-Am, or just attend the event, you can get all the info on the Golden Nugget Lake Charles website. 

On top of that, the PGA tour also canceled The Player's Championship, which was to be played this week at the TPC at Sawgrass in Florida.
