Many in the community want to build back and get things back to where they were. There are also many who would like to start up businesses, fix their homes, or even just get out of debt. This Saturday Southwest Louisiana Area Health Education Center is having its first Recovery Resource Fair.

The event will be at the Ward 3 Rec MLK Center 2000 North Simmons Street in Lake Charles from 11 am to 2:30 pm. They will have representatives from the Southwest Louisiana Credit Union with guaranteed loans, financial counseling which is important for your family's future and yours. There will also be information on Tuition loans and much more. Project Build A Future will have information about home building and small grants for repairs. You will get information on Healthcare insurance and there will be Free COVID vaccines and Flu Shots.

There will be a Drug Outreach PPRD Program, Home Demolition and Debris Removal, and various other information that will be available as well. The event is free and is open to the public to attend. If you would like more information, call Donald Fondel at 337-912-4384.
