Rodeo Houston Sets 2026 Genres and Daily Performance Plan
[KNGT-FM]- One of the most anticipated events in the Louisiana and Texas markets is Rodeo Houston. Each year, the three-week rodeo and concert series brings hundreds of thousands of people each year.
Rodeo Houston is not only a rodeo event. Each night they have a rodeo event, a concert follows with the biggest names in Country, R&B, Christian, Rock, and other genres.
Rodeo Houston brings the biggest names in music, but also features a massive carnival, a lot of shopping, and a world-class rodeo with the biggest names in the sport. The Rodeo and all the concerts take place inside NRG Stadium, located in South Houston, but outside is where the carnival is located.
The rodeo always takes place in March every year, and this year, Rodeo Houston is set for March 2nd through March 22nd, 2026.

Some of the names who have played in the past at Rodeo Houston include big-name country artists like George Strait, Cody Johnson, and Reba, to some of the legends of country like Alabama, Merle Haggard, and Charlie Pride. They have also had huge names from other genres of music, like Journey, Backstreet Boys, and more.
No artists have been announced for the upcoming 2026 shows except one. Cody Johnson is set to close out Roadeo Houston on March 22, 2026. Rodeo Houston did, however, tease the dates of the shows and the genre for each night. They posted it on their Facebook page, and we have that post for you below.
