SHREVEPORT, LA-   Shreveport police arrest woman in violent shoplifting incident

On November 30, at around 7 p.m. local law enforcement responded to an assault and battery call at a retail store located in the 200 block of East Bert Kouns Industrial Loop. The incident involved nineteen-year-old Fabia Goode, who was apprehended while allegedly attempting to shoplift items from the store.

Upon confrontation by store employees, Goode reportedly deployed pepper spray, resulting in a violent altercation. The situation was addressed by responding officers, with the assistance of an off-duty Caddo Deputy, which led to Goode's apprehension.

Goode now faces legal consequences, as she has been charged with two counts of aggravated battery and one count of felony theft. The collaborative efforts of law enforcement underscore the commitment to maintaining public safety and addressing criminal activities within our community.
