Louisiana is known for its food. If you live and are from Louisiana then you love to cook and you especially love to cook and have friends and family over. But sometimes we don't have the time to cook so we defer to getting fast food.

Louisiana is full of fast food restaurants from locally-owned restaurants to national chains. Seems like on every corner of bigger towns in Louisiana you will see a fast food restaurant on every corner. Such is the case when you visit large towns in Louisiana like New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Shreveport, Lafayette, and Lake Charles.

Now we have seen an uptick in national fast food chains opening up restaurants in rural areas of Louisiana too. Have you ever wondered which of them is Louisiana's favorite?

The website Financebuzz.com ranked all 50 states and listed the favorite fast food restaurant in every state. Surprisingly the fast food restaurant that is the favorite in Louisiana is not the favorite in any other state even though you see a ton of them in other states.

The fast food restaurant we are talking about that was voted Louisiana's favorite is Popeyes Chicken and Biscuits. According to the website, there are 137 locations of Popeyes in the state of Louisiana.
