Taco Bell Adding Pop Rocks To Their Food
Anyone remember pop rocks? Of course you do. I never was a fan, but I will try anything at least once. Which brings me to this next story.
Taco Bell just launched their new Firecracker Burrito, which has exploding "popping crystals" that pop with little bursts of a spicy cayenne flavor.
Right now they're testing them around California . . . and you can add the popping crystals to your favorite menu items for 20 cents. That's right, anything on the menu!
Why do companies always think the best part of the country to test things out is California. They don't even know good food. They don't even know how to use salt and pepper properly! Come test it here in SWLA, we know good food and we'll be able to tell you for sure if you got a hit or not.
And, on a separate note, why did they discontinue the chicken chips and cheese thing?! That stuff was amazing! I can think of 3 things off the top of my head that they can take off the menu to make room for the chicken chips!
There's no word on when they could go nationwide.
Which items on the menu would you add pop rocks to? Let us know in the comments!
