Ah, I remember these days quite well! The quest for the ONE THING needed for Ms So & So's class. My summer obstacle course for supplies has lightened up over the years but the demand is still there for the next generation of parents in Southwest Louisiana.

The Calcasieu Parish School Board has issued press release in reference to all the schools in Calcasieu Parish will be closed tomorrow Tuesday March 27th, 2012. Here is the details:

We have been notified that W.W. Lewis Middle School in Sulphur has been closed today due to a power outage. Parents are encouraged to go pick their kids as soon as they can. It is unknown if the school will re-open tomorrow. We will update you on if the school will be open tomorrow...
