There's nothing more fun than going tubing or canoeing and everybody knows that Allen Parish is the hot spot for it in Louisiana. People come from all over the country to enjoy the waters, creeks and rivers. So last year the folks in Allen Parish decided to celebrate one of the things they're famous for, canoeing. So pack up the family and get ready for the 2nd annual Allen Parish Canoe Festival at the Allen Parish Fairgrounds in Oberlin. And this year it's bigger and better with more of everything. Plus all the proceeds go to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Check out the event schedule.
