Well, we made it folks! The weekend is here and it couldn't come fast enough, right? We have all been hard at work all weekend and now it's time to get out and blow off some steam.

There are a bunch of events going on all over Southwest Louisiana and Lake Charles which include concerts, live music, the Superbowl, a popular major league baseball player will be in the area and even Mardi Gras Parades. Annual Mardi Gras Parade Held In New Orleans

There are several Mardi Gras parades in Southwest Louisiana. On Saturday, there is one in Vinton, Louisiana in the downtown area and one in Moss Bluff at Sam Houston State Park. The Superbowl is Sunday between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles from Tuscon Arizona home of the Cardinals. The game will kick off at 5:25 pm and be televised on FOX.
