Things To Do In Lake Charles And SWLA This Weekend June 16-18
I know we are a day early but we wanted to give you some time to plan ahead. We finally made it to the weekend and it's so close we can taste it. Now the dilemma is what to do this weekend.
The good news is that we have done our due diligence and made a list of things going on in Southwest Louisiana and Lake Charles this weekend so that you can get out and have some fun. There are concerts, street block parties and live local music going on all over the area. So let's get to it.
Johnny Jimenez will be performing live at Mr. Bills Seafood Express for their big Summer Block Party. Mr. Bills is shutting down the street and Johnny and his band will perform live on the back of the Buddy Russ Bus.
The Josh Abbot Band will be live at the Golden Nugget's Grand Event Center in Lake Charles Friday night, June 16th, 2023. They will hit the stage at 8:30 pm.
Rusty Metoyer will perform live on Monday, June 19th at the Lake Charles Civic Center for the big Juneteenth Festival that will take place inside the exhibition Hall.
Kevin Barton and Robbie Hebert will be performing live at The Boardwalk which is located off of East McNeese Street in the same shopping center as Mancave Salon. He will perform starting at 7:00 pm.
Coolers Icehouse located on Ryan Street in Lake Charles will have live music Saturday night, June 17th with Tyler Rather playing live.
The LSU Tigers will face Tennessee in the first round of the College Baseball World Series in Omaha, Nebraska Saturday night. The first pitch is set for 6:00 pm and will be televised on ESPN.
