Get ready Southwest Louisiana and Southeast Texas because the Roots and Boots tour is coming to Lake Charles on Friday, January 20th featuring three legendary artist.

Kaplan Louisiana's own Sammy Kershaw, Aaron Tippin and Collin Raye will be making a stop in Lake Charles for their once in a lifetime Roots and Boots tour.

Sammy Kershaw has been on the country music scene since 1991 and has racked up many top 10 hits like "She Don't Know She's Beautiful", "Cadillac Style", "Queen of My Double-Wide Trailer", "National Working Woman's Holiday", "Third Rate Romance", "Vidalia", and "Love of My Life".

Aaron Tippin has seen much success in his career to that started back in 1990.  Since then Aaron has had many big hits of his own like "There Ain't Nothin' Wrong with the Radio", "Kiss This", "You've Got to Stand for Something", and "Where the Stars and Stripes and the Eagle Fly".

Collin Raye started in country music in 1983 and it took a few years but this country crooner racked up some mega hits.   "Love, Me" and "In This Life", "My Kind of Girl", and "I Can Still Feel You".

This is going to be one huge night of great country music.  The Roots and Boots tour will be in Lake Charles on Friday night January 20th at the Golden Nugget casino.  The concert will be in the Grand Ball room and start at 8:30 p.m.
