According to some inside sources, the man that should have been a cowboy will be the headliner for Fort Polk and MWR's Freedom Fest 2020 on July 8, 2020. The event is known to be free and open to the public. They feature vendors, food, fireworks, and free live entertainment.

According to past articles about the festival, there are no parking spots on site, but shuttle service is available. Military security will be on site to direct traffic and concert-goers to the correct parking lots. The event does not allow, pets, tents, coolers, outside food or beverages.
