Top 5 Restaurants You Miss In Southwest Louisiana

So last night we decided to post the question on Facebook, "What restaurant in SWLA do you miss that’s not here anymore?   Did yours make the list?

The comments came in at a furious pace.  129 comments as a matter of fact as you told us which ones you miss the most.

Here is the list.

#5 -- Pat O'Carroll's -- It was located in Lake Charles and was known for their plastic collectors cups and great food.

#4 --  Schillileighs -- Was just an all around great joint to get drinks and a great selection of different foods.  

#3 -- Papanias -- Was located on 5th Ave in Lake Charles just South of I-210.  Known for its great atmosphere and food.

#2 -- Peppers -- It was located on Prien Lake Road across the from the mall.  It was known for their margaritas and live music in the bar area every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights.

#1 -- Shakey's Pizza -- Shakeys was the place you wanted to go after school and after McNeese football games.  They had great pizza and video games for the kids.  it was located on McNeese Street next to Nelson Donuts.  Currently On The Rocks Bar is there.

We had some honorable mentions for Western Sizzlin', Paw Paw's, Godfathers Pizza, Picadilly, Black Angus, Bonanza and Hunan Inn.
